Hi!

I'm trying to find a carplay module for my EX37 (2013) NON-Nav system.

I found a few on Ali, but there is the HD (Nav) and SD (non-nav) versions. As I have non-nav, I would be SD version. It seems it a bit more complicated to do for the non-Nav units.

I guess I have to pull the screen and confirm if the screen connector is in the middle or not...the ones where the connector is near the middle won't work.

Does anyone have experience connecting a carplay module to their G37 or EX37?

I'm looking at getting a 13 EX37 with ridiculous low mileage off the original owner. I'm talking 10,000 ORIGINAL miles from 2013. All service records and literally 2 oil changes a year religiously since new (even though there was a virtually no miles put on!). It's literally a BRAND NEW 2013 EX37 :-)

That said, the car has the BOSE, but not NAV package. I'm wanting to add one of those carplay units to the OEM screen.

From what I can gather, the Non-NAV package has a SD-Screen and the NAV has a HD-Screen

Non-Navi: 480x320
Navi: 800x480

I'm assuming carplay on a 480x320 would look like absolute garbage.

I know dropping in the entire NAV system is not a plug and play...but is it possible to swap over JUST the screen from the NAV to non-NAV models to get the higher resolution?

Review Finally a Bluetooth adapter for the Non Bose Non Nav!

GiTank Bluetooth Adapter.
It provided my wife's 2011 G37 Non Bose Non Nav (redundant) with the Bluetooth Audio we ALL HAVE BEEN LOOK8NG FOR! I promise! It is a simple Bluetooth USB adapter MADE for our cars. It has very decent sound quality. It sends Album, Artist, and Song Title information to my stereo's LCD screen and does it with Android and Apple phones but that is not all, it also sends that same information when using apps, so far every app i have tried, from Digitally Imported to iHeart Radio, Pandora, Amazon Music, Samsung Music, and even Seeker (if you havent tried Seeker on your android GET IT NOW! It allows you to get music via the Soulseek Network on your android! And yes SoulSeek is still going strong, stronger than any other p2p music sharing network).
Anyway, back to the adapter, oh ya, you just plug it in, connect to the Bluetooth, and press AUX on your stereo, THATS IT SERIOUSLY! No soldering, no removing your stereo, and it has NO LAG, NO NOISE, AND NO FREQUENCY RESPONSE CUTOFF like an FM adapter has just so much of! I've installed a bluetooth adapter to my SAT box in my trunk, ive tried the "behind the stereo products" and none of them sound better, give me song information as well as this, or are so simple to use, and all are more time consuming and more expensive!

I am NOT affiliated with these guys, I just wanted to share the (imo) FINAL and easiest solution for my fellow Non Bose Non Nav Non Bluetooth Audio Infiniti car drivers!
Oh and one last thing, it does NOT interfere with your stock Infiniti Bluetooth Cellphone connection at all, so you can maintain the stock cellphone connection and be listening to your music and when you get a call it STOPS your music and allows you to answer your cellphone via the Infiniti controls like you were never using the GiTank Bluetooth Adapter at all !

If you dont agree with my assessment.... well its available at Amazon so you can return it free in 30 days, no weird stores to buy from, just a straight up perfect solution FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!
