Yeah, I don't think the demand was there in terms of AWD cars. There's a couple more besides ARK that will make them. You can always have an exhaust shop do a custom job for a similar price as to what you'd pay for an exhaust like this anyway.

Most can be modified to fit your car if you spend the extra money. A user on here, Redfire32, was actually able to have a Fast Intentions Cat Back modified to fit his convertible, which is quite a task. But anything can be done with money.

You think it is possible to have the shockwave e370g to fit my awd version? If so, then I would not mind to go the extra step for it. Very helpful btw forums ftw !

A decent exhaust shop will be able to make anything fit, as long as you're willing to pay their rates.

Have you heard the FI in person as well? I like the low bass, exhaust notes and I heard that the Motordyne is high pitched loud while FI is lower. I'm trying to get as close to GTHAUS sound tone without the 3GS haha. I would buy the axle back but I get no performance gains when I get my a CBE at the same price with a little performance gain. Thanks!

You will scrape if you're lowered. It's completely unavoidable with how the pipes sit in the rear. I actually just took my eibachs out this weekend and installed coilovers because I needed to be higher. The parking lot I work in has those annoying yellow bumps and my exhaust would scrape every time.

They do have polished tips available. Call them ASAP because I tried to exchange my blue ones for polished tips and they said no because I took them out of the plastic wrap. They're very serious about it and new tips are over $500

was afraid of that.. ill see how it goes for the next few weeks..
just finished the install and got caught in the rain midway... figured its only water and continued through..
ill have to revisit it later to align the thing... the driver side sits a little lower no matter how I tried to adjust it...
also had to leave the cross member out... is this normal

Yes, the cross member must come off and stay off. It's hard to align them properly. There's a metal shield (shaped like a box) near the rear wheel on the passenger side. The exhaust vibrated on that sometimes so I took the box off and grinded the part where it was hitting, which stopped the vibration and also allowed me to adjust the passenger side to sit evenly w/ the drivers side.

My explanation was bad so if you need a picture let me know and I'll take one tomorrow morning.

yeah its hittin mine too.. see pic
although ill probably use some sort of hard rubber to absorb the vibration instead of shaving..
also didnt have the spacers that came with it so I used washers.. probably better since I was able to choose my own clearance..
wanted to get minimum gap space.. should be enough to clear it from exhaust heat..
one of the pics shows it still needs adjusting.. driver side still lower than passenger..

Yes that's exactly what I was talking about with the rubbing. I was trying to find something to put there to absorb vibration but any type of adhesive-backed product wouldn't be able to withstand the heat and intimately fall off. I hope you're able to find a better solution.

I shaved it down, sanded, then painted to avoid rust in that spot. It wasn't totally hollow, so I was able to shave without creating any holes.

Tip clearance looks great. I remember not being able to get a perfect adjustment because the passenger side was hitting something, it may have been the problem we talked about but I don't remember. Follow the piping to see if there's any issues. I was able to get it adjusted properly in the end.

there are thermal adhesive capable of withstanding exhaust heat..
planned on having the rubber adhere to the exhaust piping instead of that corner..

sanded down the tips up to 1200 grit this morning... my buffer is in storage so decided to leave it..
its not mirror polish but it has the brush look... actually goes better with the grey imho..
pics of it before and after..

Hmm I really like that look. I was planning on taking them off soon and using some slightly abrasive metal polish to take the blue off. What grit did you start with and when did you notice it start to come off?

like the brush look at the moment.. may polish it next spring but doubt it..
comes off easily btw..

noticed also that low end torque disappeared.. cant tell enough from the butt dyno to say where I gained...
