I have the FI exhaust with no resonator and want to get the RHFC. Before the the exhaust is fully warm I have a little bit of rasp. Are the RHFC gonna increase this since I don't have a resonator in the mid pipe.

I don't think they will, but Tony at FI would know for sure.

The resonator will resolve your rasp issue. I have an ARK catback and FI RHFCs and dont have any rasp. However, I definitely don't want it any louder. I have mild taste so loud to me is most likely just right to everyone else.

Resurrecting this old thread. How many miles are people getting on their FI RHFC? Recently picked up a set that has about 30k miles on them. Wondering how long they should last me. Thanks!

I have probably approx 35k miles on my FI RHFCs and they still sound like they did day 1. No problems with them and loving the sound.

Looking at replacing my factory cats because they're shot, talked to my mechanic and said the problem with aftermarket cats is they can trip the service engine soon light. Any issue with SES lights due to these? I know this is an old thread so thanks in advance to any responses.

Does anyone offer the specific size gaskets (for purchase), and would they be useful for connecting the Cats to the exhaust manifold connection?

I'm looking at the ARK Grip, or possibly the newest Motordyne Exhaust (IF, they offer a Motordyne CBE for a Sedan, no one has confirmed they do yet. Just need to call them to get this answered).

It sounds liek as of now, I am looking at the ARK Grip CBE (Stainless Tips. Not sure the burnt tips or the crazy colored blue/red tinted one would look goon on a Black Sedan?)

t5hen I just need to figure out which HFC to get?

The resonated one is an option, but I have learned from experience to always go one more than you want, because after you get it, you always wished you had a little more. maybe I can get a FI HFC that are NOT resonated. I might call Fast Intentions to have a talk with them to get their opinion on what to get after I tell them what sound I am after.

Thanks agian and any more comments are appreciated!

if you plan to go with Non res FI HFC i have one for sale. It is still sealed in the box from FI. I decided to just keep my stock cats so I'm selling it back. PM me if you are interested and you don't have to wait 2 months from FI

Okay, no sales ads outside of the Classifieds. Read the rules. Which means, take this to PM immediately.
