Transmission slipping 09 G37x

Code shows 3rd and 4th gear malfunction. Car only books for around 9k with 137k miles on it. Trying to determine whether I should try a tranny swap or sell it? Anyone with similar issues?

what are your symptoms? I believe mine is starting to slip too but I have no codes. Just today I was driving through town and from a stop hit around 25mph. Rpms were at 2k and stayed there for about 5 seconds then upshifted. My foot was steady on the throttle, wasn't tryinf to accelerate or slow down, just cruise so maybe the computer was expecting me to accelerate more as I do drive a little hard.I notice this happens somtimes and if I give the car more gas and go above 2k it shifts fine. This only happens in a certain gear and I am not sure what gear it is. Car shifts fine in all other gears.

Mine revs up around 4 to 5k before going to 2nd. It will shift fine thru all gears if I feather the pedal. If I try to drive normal or aggessive it will throw the car into neutral. I then have to turn off the car then start it back up. Drives fine again until I get into the throttle. It also lags before take off. Like it doesn't know its in gear. Took it to Nissan dealer who said it needs a transmission. Not sure what direction to go with it.

Did Nissan hook up their Consult device to check for codes? If not, take it to Nissan or Infiniti to have them do it. It very well could need replacing. Or have TSBs applied. You won't know until the code check.

My transmission is starting to slip too! 2011 g37 sedan rwd 60k miles, it's quite sad because the radiator cracked too. I had to replace the radiator and flush the tranny 3 times and it's still slipping. The new transmission costs 10k o-o

I'm assuming you did not mean to type 10K, and actually meant 1K right? No transmission, even fully replaced, even on a Mercedes is close to 10K. These cars are popular, there are hundreds of them in junkyards. Put a used transmission in it.

Since trans cooker runs through radiator you might need to do small rebuild on trans
