Engine rpm help

So this morning I took the kids to school, no problem.. go thru yhe drive thru, when i left car will not go over 3500rpm, and bucks till ot changes gears or left ur foot up and it changes. This even happens in manual mode.
I restarted the car... same issue.

All this with no check ebgonr light on.
Is this possibly the rear riming cover gasket???
What should i check??

So 1st update... im at work.. put our scanner on it, everything reads ok??? Scanner does not give oil pressure, smh.. but all other readings are ok, and no codes anywhere, i checked all systems..

That's limp-home mode. Why it's doing that, can't tell.

Not sure where you can check for pending codes, but there won't be an oil pressure reading as our cars have an oil pressure switch, not sensor, so the ECU doesn't get pressure readings, just 0 or 1 from the switch.

No pending codes, no new codes, the check engine light never even came on.

Is there a way to check the oil pressure??? and the car has been fine since... hopefully it was a fluke..

I know the dealer can do it, otherwise you have to T the switch with a port for hooking up a pressure sensor. There was a thread around here or 370z about doing it.

I wonder how much they would charge?? I seen that wright up. I did not want to go that route till the warranty is over. But I guess I could do it, get a reading then put it back to stock..
