ECU Replacement

Hi guys, I have some issues with my ECU and will be replacing it with a new/used one soon...I have some questions on what I would need to do to get the ECU working with the car:
1) Isit a straight swap? Or will I need Consult 3 to do some magic to get it to work?
2) I assume FOBs will need to be reprogrammed?
3) Anything else?

Thank you

Your BCM, fobs, and ECU will all need to be reprogramed at the same time. I just had to swap out mine (ecu coil signal issue). It isnt a big deal, took the dealership 5 minutes and they were nice, did it for free, instead of the $60.

I'm from Australia, and my car was is an import from Japan - so dealerships here are arseholes and would not help. Will do further reading on this. Thanks for your reply!

When they do the fob reprogram it should do all three. Sucks they are being jerks, and that sadly means they might take your wallet for a ride. I would see if a locksmith can do the reprogram then. The BCM, ECU, and fobs all need the same code or it will throw one of the NATS codes and the car will not start.
