I'm having a hard time concentrating on my gauge, since I feel like I'm going to get into an accident lol.

I'll be doing 4th gear WOT runs today and hopefully be done for the weekend. There's a dyno day on sunday, which I'd like to go to.
I had the same issue with the 4th gear, I need to get one also but hard trying to find enough road to hit 120+ :/.. Why not rent a dyno for a few hours and get the pulls in with Seb. I did that. he was online and emailing me back and forth and talking to me on the phone, while I sat in the car on the dyno

I probably should, but I'd like to see how a road tune is compared to a dyno tune. I did another 4th gear wot run today on my updated tune map. I wasn't even able to look at my gauge or speedometer. I was just looking at my rpms and the road to make sure I didn't crash lol. I'll be hitting the dyno on Sunday to check my current numbers.

Yep, same here. I think my tune is done now. We are just adjusting line pressure to get the shifting a bit smoother.

Update:

The car runs great. Sebastian did an awesome job with communication and the tune in general. My transmission lag that I had with all my previous tuners is now COMPLETELY GONE! I'm tinkering with his 7AT launch hack right now and hopefully I'll get on the strip tomorrow. I can definitely feel the gains in my butt dyno because I get sucked into the seat. The best thing is that there's no heatsoaking, so I can do run after run

I ran it the car on a dyno during a dyno day and here are the results. There's a nice gain in torque, but they let off at 6600 even though I told them to redline it at 7500. Their dyno runs very low in general (As you can see from the old dyno sheets), so the gains are looking pretty good so far.

No sheets as of now. I just emailed them to see if they have them on file, so I can see the actual powerband.

Yeah, I forgot what it was called lol. What did you end up setting your RR TC to? Mine was initially set at 230, but I'm assuming I can make it much lower, since we are AWD.

I've kind of given up on numbers at this point honestly. Every dyno I go to has given me very different numbers. There are too many variables, so the drag strip is where my gains will really show. Honestly, I don't see why you wouldn't go EcuTek with FI. Even with Uprev's big update, they are still behind. You can find all the differences on the comparison threads.

I haven't posted an update in a while, since I've been a bit busy.

Everything has been running perfectly fine and I'm satisfied as far as driveability goes. The only thing I've done recently is swap out the Turbosmart bpv for the Tial QRJ BPV. It is much much louder, but the fluttering is gone finally.

Here is what is currently going on:

CJM is finishing my flex fuel sensor setup
I will be adding the extra pulley in the empty slot on the pulley bracket and run a longer belt.
I'm trying to locate a local shop to do my impeller swap.

I'm aiming to have all this done sometime in September and then head back to the strip/dyno.

Sweet setup. Props.

Switching bpvs to avoid fluttering seems excessive. IIRC, both TS and Tial are adjustable - spring sets your initial / base, and then you turn the adjuster to tighten / loosen more precisely.
(not G) When I was running a gt35r with 25lbs, I had to double up on springs, but it was still cheaper than a new bov/bpv.

Unfortunately, the turbosmart model that everyone has been getting is a really small unit. I had it on the softest setting with the softest spring and it would still flutter. I even dremeled coils off the spring and got much better results, but not enough to my liking. I figured it was a good time to upgrade, especially since I'll be running even more boost soon.

Update:

I haven't been able to do work on the car as early as I hoped, but I should be making some real progress this month.

Installed my TiAL BPV. The thing is a monster and is much larger than the turbosmart unit. It's also crazy loud to the point where people on the street ask me if my car is ok

Here is a sample vid of it:

As mentioned before, I'm going to be doing the extra tensioner pulley, SI trim, and flex fuel.

I actually can't find a shop that will do the SI impeller swap for me besides Vortech directly, but their lead time is 3 weeks+. It actually puzzles me because from what I've heard, all you need is a hydraulic press. I decided to just purchase another V3 supercharger headunit that is SI trim from factory and just replace the whole unit.

All of these should be able to be done within a day including the dyno tuning, so I'm hoping to be in the range of ~450awhp. Stay tuned for further updates. This month should be interesting.

I'm going SC next year. Getting pissed with the nitrous setup not working. Got bottle warmer fixed and solenoids not working now. Messing the controller settings, getting pissed off.
