What's the best fluids for differentials and transfer case????

Ok guys, this forum has been great helping this Noobie work and get some great info on my build. But the time has come for my G37X to get her differentials done and transfer case oil swapped as well. What do you guys think is the best safe aftermarket brands for this ? Or should I just buy all Nissan supplied fluids???? Thank you all!!!

I would stick with all nissan OE fluids. That's what i do... no problems and @ 99k miles of mostly hard driving right now.

OEM is perfectly fine. You may get a ton of different opinions on what everyone prefers. The truth is that any of them are more than sufficient and it's just about people's personal preference. I don't believe that anyone has posted a used oil analysis for those which is the only way to see anything.

I agree , I just want to buy what's best for my car as in anything else I put into it. There's def a lot of personal choice but I would like to see some type of reassurance using outside of OE.

If you have a open differential non lsd I would use oem or Eneos which I used on my base sedan and it worked well, I bought mine from Napa.

Keep OE fluids

Just about any compatible brand will be better than the dirty fluids in there now. If you're not comfortable picking a specific brand stick with OEM/Nissan fluids. I used Amsoil for the transfer case and Mobil 1 for both difs. Be careful breaking the fill plug loose on the front dif. I had to use a breaker bar and ended up messing up my oil pressure sensor. It was easy to replace tho.

I use mobile 1 75w90 for the diffs and matic s in the transfer case.

Motul or Redline are both excellent choices too and are compatible

Matic S is what has replaced it, as far as Nissan. But I'm sure you can find a matic J comparable aftermarket
