Oil cooler on g37x

I bought a 25 row z1 oil cooler. Anybody installed a z1 oil cooler on their g37X?

I am strictly interested in hearing for X owners who have installed it to see if any issues arose and if it was a plug and play with the kit like z1 claims

Most will be plug n play just gotta figure out the best place to mount on your vehicle.
just make sure you are aware that you'll need to add an extra 1/2-1qt more oil each oil change to account for the excess space in the system now.

Clarification: Each oil change, or just after adding the oil cooler?

I can't see how the oil cooler would drain as the filter sandwich plate is higher than most of the cooler. Unless you manually disconnect a line at each oil change.

I mean, I wouldn't want old oil going through my system for very long so yes I'd drain from the lines too...or at least that's my plan when I get my kit on.

I understand.
When I put together my oil cooler kit, I will mount the cooler with the hoses on the bottom. It will be a little easier to drain and not as messy.

You got it bossman, plan it out right the first time saves hassle down the road.
