GTM Stage 2 Supercharger Preliminary Testing Results
After months and months of tweaking, designing, we are finally able to throw our stage 2 test car on the dyno to get some results. Keep in mind our intention here is to find what the supercharger's capability is. We were very pleased to find that the unit, although larger in size, was able to keep a nice flat torque curve with better top end power.
We feel this result can give us a very accurate indication of how well the head unit is reacting since we are using the same car, same gas, same pulley. We are still not done testing the supercharger and our multiple intake designs that have been on and off many times to optimize the setup. Here are the changes we made differentiates the two stages: 1) Urethane Engine Mounts to gain room for the bigger compressor housing which vastly improved engine response by getting rid of the mushy stock mounts. 2) New Intake Design 3) New Compressor Housing design 4) New Supercharger Outlet Piping 5) 3" MAF housings The results you see are fresh off the press this morning's dyno pulls. After the dyno sessions, the vehicle was off the dyno and the supercharger is coming off the car for the 100th damn time. |
So much win. I will ask the inevitable question Sam: When do you anticipate these will be ready?

DAMN ! Im sure glad I waited to S/C the G... Cant wait for the release or atleast the preorder release if any... Great job Sam and the rest of the guys at GTM... as always !
I have the same question as BlackBetty on the release, but more so on the price, since you will be adding in a few extras, so my guess would be dont base the price off of your website for the GTM Stage 2 S/C kit ??? Thanks in advance Sam ! GTM FTMFW !!! SUBSCRIBED !!!!!! |
Get this finished so you can work on the x/7AT!!!! ;)

I just bought a 2011 6MT and I was wondering if there would be any issues fitting the oil coolers and such since the washer bottle was moved to accomodate the bumper-mounted fog lights. |
Giggitty!
