:/ why not sell the motor etc and put that towards a TT install. less headaches, with proven setup.

I know its not the cheapest route or most practical but it would be bad a$$

I had looked into this before building my 3.8L TT G35. I wish i would have done the VK56 swap instead.
One of the issues the G35 guys ran into was the intake plenum wouldn't clear the hood, so a cowl or custom intake with shorter runners would be required I assume the G37 would have similar issues. I would do it and run a couple of GT-30s or GT-35s on the stock bottom end it would be a monsTTer.

This thing sounds so sickkk

I met a guy actually who did a 2JZ engine swap on his G35. That thing drove INSANE!

Didn't cost much either, used 2JZ engine + labor only costed him around 4 grand!!!!

That's uber cheap especially since you're going from a V6 to an inline 6. It's a pain in the *** to do that swap.

With twin GT30s you'll be pushing over 600whp and that's on low boost. The engine wouldn't hold up whatsoever at those levels at stock compression.

It didn't seem like it was to be honest. Fitment looked like stock fitment and so was driveability!! He was kind enough to let me drive it too! All I could say was wow..

I wonder if we can stick LS2's in the G37 LOL. I know they do it to 350z no problems, perhaps we could even get a new motor than the ls2s!

I swear if I had my g35 I would so stick a v8 in one for fun and push the limits.

Locals have loads of experience with 2JZ engines here they know'm inside out and their parts are as available as oil here lol

Owner of that G35 would abuse the shiat out of that engine till it blows, then get another one for less than a grand lol

Oh I definitely wouldn't want to deal with the headaches of a German engine & ECU

RBs and JZs seem to be the way to go here
