Rattle/Creaking noise at Idle

Hi,

Does anyone on here notice a sort of rattle/creaking/ticking sound coming from underneath the car when it's idling?

It's not significantly loud or anything but i can definitiely hear it when i'm outside of the car. It also doen't matter if my car is warmed up or not, as long as it's idling the sound can be heard.

To compare the sound to something, it's almost identical to the sound your car makes when you park it in the garage for the night and you hear some ticking sounds. This is really hard to explain so if this doesn't make sense, my apologies.

I hear it to. I think it has something to do with the my manual tranny. If I push in the clutch it goes away.

this is the fifth or so thread concerning the ticking from the exhaust/cats. the ticking is common on g35, and apparently on the 37s as well. my 35 did this from new. my 37 has yet to do this, but many one here have the issue. there should be a sticky made about external ticking noise.

I have this too... pretty sure the dealers have a TSB for this where they will replace the exhaust system.

only the elite G37's do it. means that the engine is so powerful it cant be in idle. its begging to be driven so it whines. lol yeah but that **** is definatly annoying when your trying to show off and its making gay noises when all i wanna hear is that deep clean exhuast noise. i wanna take it into the dealer but i think its normal. either way the car is fckin fun to drive seriously you dont need faster than this on the road. your asking for tickets or an accident if so, but i sure wouldnt mind having them hurry up on the turbo's and super's
