Dyno'd my G37S
Dyno'd my G37S today, I'll have the chart up later. Anyways,
I put down 270whp / 234 torque with SAE corrections. Its a little bit lower than I expected (I was expecting 280) http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u...zheus/Dyno.jpg |

Can you post your sheet with temp etc.. Was it a good shop, was the machine calibrated recently?
Don't have the chart up yet, I will post it soon as I have it online.
what kind of dyno?
Dynojet
at least now you have a baseline for mods...how many runs?
3 runs, 2 in 4th 1 in 5th
why 4th? i thought 1:1 on a 6mt is 5th? was the numbers posted on 5th? how was your a/f?
Was there any particular reason why you did the Dyno's 2 4th 1 5th? Why not 2 2nd 1 3rd? I suppose it really doesn't matter what gear you do it in?? Been a while since I've talked Dyno :confused2:
whats the numbers supposed to look like on a stock 37?
I'll have the graph up tomorrow for you guys. AF was straight all the way through. The most power was made in 4th.
UNV said his shop dyno'ed a 6mt to put 291 to the wheels! That one is starting to sound more and more like a factory freak. I wonder what kind of break in was done on it..........
291 is nuts i only got 260 on the dynapack
I just did quick numbers in my head... shouldnt you get around 270whp in a 6MT to have a 18% drivetrain loss from 330hp?
Im may be wrong but thats the figures i got. If not someone who knows correctly do that numbers for 6MT and 5AT. |
