That BMW sounded sick. And not in the way kiddies use the word.

^^^ Yes the BMW sound SICK( Good way)! I was a little more than what I had( Wish I had a clip). But duration of the over run was adjustable( By you).
Also depends what exhaust you had. I had stock cats and just the BMW performance muffler. IMO it was perfect, just enough to scare someone LOL but not over bearing cracking loud. Just wish this an option with ECUTEK.

Ex G37 owner here!!!
I have a BMW M4, and a MINI Cooper S now.
Both Turbo!!
They both pop and burble!!! Its a byproduct of Turbo ALS (anti lag system).
The ECU keeps the injectors feeding fuel during deceleration in anticipation of you stomping back on the throttle.
Also the VANOS system keeps intake and exhaust valves open during decel and shifting to dump boost.
So all that fuel burns in the exhaust if you don't accelerate.

Burble Tune On G37 Sedan with GTHAUS Catback exhaust and RHFC
Guy is tuned by Specialty Z and on Ecutek tune
thats a video I found on YouTube. Definitely possible. But need to find out what Tune was used and who the hell tuned it. Also, would it be possible to get burbles and pop flames? Lol cuz tbh yeah flames are awesome! But I can’t see them when I’m driving only others can. So burble mode is more for like me and then the flames to show off.

I've been planning to reach out to Seb soon to get a tune with ECUTek and had definitely planned to talk to him about enabling the pops and bags features on my maps. From everything I've read, he's one of the best VQ tuners out there so it's really surprising to me if he said he didn't know about this. Maybe this is different than the off throttle coasting burble you're talking about.
It seems like several other tuners offer this already going back into 2017. Here's just one with a video of a 370z using the pops and bangs features of ECUTek .

Hi guys,
So ECUTEK doesn't offer the parameters to produce the off throttle, coasting burbles/pops. I'm actually really shock and disappoint that they do not offer this. I mean the MHD software I ran on my BMW was brand new and had the option ;/. I guess we all have to wait for ECUTEK to make those available.

My car burbles on decelleration. Tuned by Seb with resonated test pipes. It's enough to enjoy but not obnoxious. What people are doing now with flames and pops is what used to be called "backfiring" or "after fire" (talking about n/a). The sign of a poorly tuned engine. Not sure why that's a dope thing but to each their own. Gotta wonder about carbon buildup and spark plug life tho.

So was there an update on this? is there a way to update the throttle map to make it burble on deceleration?
I am looking to get either FI RHFC or ART pipes - Need to know if this is possible with ECUTEK or do I need a different tune.
Let me know or link a thread where i can find more options.
Thanks
