Southbend Stg 2, HD CSC, Lightweight Fly review

Hey everyone,
Just thought id make a review since i got bored.. I tried making one before.. wrote the whole thing up and didnt copy it just in case... and myg37 logged me out... needless to say i quit LOL.

But as the title states, this is a quick review of the following / deciding factors etc.

Little bit of back story:

My 09 PG 6mt CSC finally went out after it started feeling funny for 2 days, luckily when the pedal stuck to the floor i was at home. Went out at 103k Miles. I drive the car pretty spirited.. lol Swapped out to a South Bend Stg 2 clutch, + Quiet Disk option, Light weight billet fly wheel, New updated OEM Master cylinder, Zspeed heavy Duty Slave , + SS clutch line

Clutches: I was either going exedy, or southbend were the two i narrowed it down to. Ended up going with southbend since they have a light weight fly wheel as a package w/ Zspeed. $800 for the exedy oem type, and a little more for the southbend.

-main reason i narrowed it down to those two brands because they're major clutch companies, no offense to Z1 or Zspeed. Just like to stick to the main ones.

Installation tips if you DIY,
We did mine at a friends shop. The most PITA would be removing the oem master cylinder... we went from under the wheel well to loosen up 3 bolts that holds the ABS module in place... Lift the ABS module toward the front of the car while someone attempts to yank it out. That probably took 45 min of wiggling it to get it out.

PEDAL FEEL
So far i've put 1k miles on the setup in total.
The clutch pedal is probably 1.5x heavy than stock, but if you've been driving your car alot you will barely notice it in traffic only. As far as Daily driving it, not bad at all. The "grab zone" would be more forgiving it feels like, and my brother who drives my car occasionally says the car is easier to drive.

If you a put a stock G next to you and get in and out of both the cars you will notice a large difference for those directly comparing that, but

The lightweight fly does help with the rev matching downshifts and makes it easier and faster. a decent bit. probably .5 faster than stock and a little more responsive feel.

CHATTER:
I went with the quiet disc option for another $50.00. I would say it's well worth it.
the sound is very very minimal considering going with a light weight fly also. You have to know what sound to listen for to hear it. Probably as quiet as stock or even quieter.

Total time Ended up about 6-7 hours for installation of a new clutch, fly, slave, master cylinder, transmission flush and diff flush.
Replaced trans fluid with OEM MTF.
and diff with redline

Pics to make it not as boring..
if there are any questions i might be able to help with ask away!
