Thank you for your kind words!

It wasn't a planned episode, however when I was under the car fixing the rear diff bushing with 5 minute epoxy (if you haven't seen it look for episode 23), I saw all that rust and had to do something about it. Every other part of the underbody looked good!

In the spring I will have a follow up episode to see how well is it holding up.

Where did you find the permatex rust dissolver? Can't see to find it at stocked at any local CDN Tire.

Try Home Hardware ... Home Hardware - 236mL Rust Dissolver Gel

I noticed it was just recalled in November though b/c of labelling/child safety issues so they may have taken it off the shelves until they repackage it.

Interesting, hopefully it gets re-stocked around spring time!

Gregg Distributors will carry it locally.

Crap... as posted above, it looks like it was recalled a few months ago.
The bottle I used was purchased about 5 years ago.

I suspect any "rust eating" product should work well to slow down the rust.

Another great, helpful video, thanks!

For those in Canada, I think I found a good substitute from Canadian Tire:
Rust Remover | Canadian Tire

I purchased it yesterday and will do a quick test it today.
