Clutch master cylinder removal
Hey I got a 2008 Infiniti g37. I am trying to change the clutch master cylinder. I have everything removed I just need to get the master cylinder out as it is a tight spot in between the brake booster and abs box. I was just wondering of anybody who has done it before what was the best way to remove the clutch master cylinder. Any time that can be saved will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Same CMC?
I bought a new clutch master cylinder from ZSpeed for a 2008 G37. They were very helpful by the way. It looks quite a bit different than the original. See in the picture, there is a large diaphragm or something on the bottom of the original. Does anybody know what it is and whether the replacement I received is equivalent? This extension on the bottom made it extremely difficult to remove. I ended up having to loosen the ABS unit and unbolt the Brake Booster.

I replaced my MC with one from ZSpeed when I replaced my clutch. The biggest difference I could see was that if I had to replace the ZSpeed unit again, it wouldn't be as big a PITA to remove as the stock unit.
