When you pull the bumper, can you take pictures of the inside of the bumper, before and after? I want to see how much extra does it stick out in the back. I'm interested in doing this but have intercooler piping right behind the faux vents. Thanks.

I was told, and did order a 2011 slim washer tank from Brad at orderinfinitiparts.com

The back of the bulb is 2 3/4" out from the plane of the 2010 faux vent panel.

But I will take pics.

One is up in the OP.

No im not a fan of the ipl front, sticks out too much for my liking. One of the members was selling a 2011 regular bumper (our sports front) for 100. So I drove an hr last night to pick it up.

Full Disclosure: I am an electrical infant.

That being said, You said the yellow wire goes to the fogs. Im assuming you split that wire and run one to each fog. What about the other wire on the pigtail? Is that another ground?

Also, what size wire do you recommend?

Thanks

A warning,

If you order from parts express for the relay and socket they will add about $8 to your shipping if you add the 336 page "FREE" catalog.

Yellow wire 87 goes to fogs, yes both fog wires went to that one connector.
White wire 85 gets grounded.
Blue wire 30 get a spade and plugs into the climate control seat connector.
Black wire 86 goes to the running lamp 12V wire.
Red wire 87A gets cut off, I stuck a red cap on it.

The AC Delco connectors have 18AWG, thats what I ran from the fogs to the relay, which has 14AWG.

What I mean is at the foglight pigtail each fog has 2 wires, one goes to the yellow wire from the relay and where does the other wire from the foglight pigtail go?

Spliced both together at the yellow wire connector.
The ground wires, I used a ring terminal, and ground them individually to the respective ends of the bumper reinforcement beam. Disconnect your battery first, the air bag impact sensors are on that beam!!

To be specific:
I ran the passenger wire inside plastic wire shield tube, up along the washer reservoir, and across between the radiator overflow and radiator, then to the yellow wire, the drivers side, straight up to the yellow wire connector.
