Front Bumper Removal Guide

I couldn't find one up here so i figured i would post this. Very simple and straight forward.

1. Fully open hood assembly.
2. Remove clips (A) of front bumper fascia upper side.

3. Remove radiator core support ornament.
4. Remove clips (A) of hood seal assembly (side) LH/RH with remover tool (B), and then remove hood seal assembly located front portion.

5. Remove bolts (A), and then remove bumper bracket (1).

6. Remove bolts (A) of fixing engine lower cover and front fender protector.

7. Remove fender protector (front) mounting bolts and clips, and then remove screw (A) of fixing bumper fascia left and right side.

8. Pull the bumper fascia side toward the vehicle side to disengage the fitting of bumper side bracket and bumper fascia side.

9. Remove bumper fascia assembly.

These instructions are dead on IF your fog light is in the headlight housing. If you have a 2010 or higher (NOT including the verts) with the fog lights in the lower bumper then on step 8 there are two bolts, not just one.

I'm not a guy who does a ton of DIY on my cars, but I have changed the in-cabin filter, replaced the engine air filters (very easy), and changed out my battery (removed the under-hood cowl). Based on my low-level experience, what do you think the level of difficulty of this front bumper cover removal would be for me (1 being extremely easy and 5 representing the need to get a mechanic/bodyshop to do it)?

I would appreciate anyone's guidance on this one.

Thanks.

I'd say probably a 2. Its really not hard. The hardest part is getting to those screws in the wheel well. You have to pull back the black wheel well cover pretty hard to get to those screws.

Has nothing to do with 08-09 or 2010.

Coupes have 1 bolt, sedans have 2.

i know this thread is ridiculously outdated but I have to remove my bumper tomorrow and did not want to run in to any issues...

on #4, what is the remover tool that is referred to, to remove the hood seal assembly?

"Remove clips (A) of hood seal assembly (side) LH/RH with remover tool (B),"

FYI, if anyone has a 2010 and up sedan, step 8 was a pain in the *** as there is another screw inside the first screw...PAIN IN THE ***...
