Hello, so I've been looking for a good car cleaning kit and I found a Chemical guys kit which isnt too expensive but I was wondering if anyone else has used their products and liked it. Thank you.

They make some pretty good quality products. I've used the Ecosmart waterless wash and wax and their tire and trim gel and was happy with the results I got from both...

I have been using them for quite sometime now. Try the Citrus wash and Gloss for soap and Butter Wet wax can't go wrong with either one.

In my experience griots garage, sonax and menzerna are some of the best products you can get.
Chemical guys has been hit or miss.

I use chemical guys wax,car soap, leather conditioner (this stuff is amazing), interior cleaner and waterless wash as well. Chemical guys is expensive but most of their stuff is of great quality in my opinion.

I didn't like the leather conditioner, has a rust color that is a pain to deal with.

Their waxes are ok but most of there stuff is sub-par to me in results. I get better outcomes from Meguiars products. Also don't ever buy their accessories as they break because their cheap china crap and no one at Chemical guys cares.

I've actually had pretty good luck with most of their products. I few stand outs to stay away from... Butter Wax- Nice shine, but lasts maybe 2 washes. New Car smell - Not sure what it smells like, but not good. Verabond - Didn't notice any difference in applying a top coat.

IMHO, The biggest problem for me is WAY too many products, many do the same thing. I LOVE 3M Perfect-It line, but most people don't like the cost.

For the Meguiar's fans, if you don't know they are now owned by 3M. So in the brand hierarchy:
Meguiars (burgundy bottle)--> Meguiars Mirror line (Creme Bottle) --> 3M's Perfect-It line.

Most detailers will have an arsenal of products from different manufactures. For example, I prefer 3M's compound to M105, but prefer M205 to 3M's machine polish. I like Chemical Guys claybar and glazes(Blacklight / V7-Hybrid is a wicked combo) and top with Wolfgang's 30 Sealant. Your garage cabinets are going to be very full with products from many different manufactures.

I will agree with rsingerG37, their (CG's) accessories are not very good. You can get way better products for much cheaper.

I've used Chemical Guys products from time to time, and they work alright. They've been pushing a lot of new products for the past year or two (they advertise every new product as "Game Changer" and "Revolutionary"), but their new products works just like their older products, but with higher price tag. Meanwhile, their older product lineups are always out of stock (go figure).

So you're basically buying the same sh|t for more money...now that's a Game Changer.

Hit or miss. I use their microfiber but that's about it. If i had to choose one line of affordable products for car care it would be Duragloss
