Liquid-Glass

I've been wanting to detail my G so I decided to give Liquid-Glass a try.
To make sure my G was clean before applying the LG I first washed, Clay-bar and purchase a Dr.ColorChip kit to make any repairs on the front bumper/hood.

Applying/removing the LG was pretty easy and Im waiting 4 hrs before applying a second coat.
Im pretty pleased with the results so far.

My G

Good job!. What is liquid glass exactly? I've never heard of it. Is it some sort of wax, sealant, polish? Don't forget to polish the exhaust tips.

Looks great. So with it being a polish, should you ideally finish with a wax also?

This is stuff cures hard and once LG is applied & cured, there is nothing else needed.

Sorry, I use like all Meguiar's stuff, so this liquid glass, when you apply it, do you buff out like normal detailer, or what?

it works best when you remove all the old wax with a cleaner or dish soap.
and you just apply by hand, let i dry to a haze then just wipe off like most waxes.

ok, so i ordered and used liquid glass over the weekend. I was skeptical about how easy and good it looks. my car was fairy clean already so I just washed it. the stuff went on really easy. I let it haze per instructions then hand polished it off. It looked ok. The next day I went to work and everyone was asking what I did to my car. It looked so good. After getting home that evening I had a closer look at the paint. Many of the swirls had lessoned, and the car did gleam... I'm sold and will apply one more coat. For many of us, the look will be good, but for you perfectionist it will need to have more prep and possibly another coat of wax on top for that "je n'ais sa quoi?"
