Water Based Paint / Clear Coat on G's new?
 

Lots in the forum*s* about water based paint. Anyone know when Infiniti stated using water based paint on G's? :dunno:

I don't know a specific answer to your question but I believe it has been quite a few years now. Maybe the 90's?

Curiosity has got the best of me. I'm trying to find the model year Infiniti changed to water based paint.

Here in California, an auto body guy was telling me about the good 'ol days when they could spray "hard" paints. I've had several Datsun, Nissan, Infiniti cars over the years, but, can't remember any paint changes other than when clear coats became common, back in the 70's.
