Basic car washing questions.
 

I have Meguiar's Gold Class™ Car Wash that is a few years old or a new bottle of Sonax Gloss Shampoo. which should I use?

Do I need to pre wash the MF towels before i use them?
Is there any prep needed for the sheep skin wash mit? (hate to have fluff all over the car)

I love Gold Class and have old product which I just used yesterday. It should be ok. I have noticed though that Gold class tends to strip the wax off the paint, so now i use it when i want to re-wax. I use mainly Meguiars products and have for years prior to being sponsored. If you got AIM I love detailing. Did a 6 hour job on hte G last night.
Wash
Clay bar
Polish
Gold Class wax
All Meguiars.

prep for the rest is basic rinse of the mitt, MF's should be good with a quick whip or two to get the loose pieces out ( i love to use them brand new).
don't let any towles etc rest on the ground either.
