G37xS with damage report
Hi guys,
A deer decided that my 2012 g37x with 61k miles was too nice to exist anymore so he totaled it. Now looking for a replacement.
A Ford dealer near me has a used 2012 g37xS (premium + nav) w/ 54k miles listed for $14k. The Carfax shows 3 owners but has a recent April 2018 entry for "Damage Report: Damage reported. Damage to rear." Any idea what this means? Doesn't say there was an accident maybe someone backed into a pole?
Think it is even worth going to look at for this price?
Thanks!

I definitely recommend taking it to an independent shop to let them look it over. The report is vague and your desire to get another G may cloud your judgement and make you overlook things.

Also check the paint on the rear bumper see if it matches with the body of the car and if their is any orange peel on it. Either could have been a minor rear bump. Also check the edges of the trunk to fender and bumper to fender make sure their is no big open gaps in between.
