2018 Consumer reports - Thus far

Pretty early in the year but figured I'd share since I came across the CR FY 2018 this morning. Glad to see Infiniti is holding strong. Very surprised by the Germans though. Both Audi and BMW rank higher than Infiniti so far...

Interestingly, the Q50, which is likely the volume leader for Infiniti, is listed as the least reliable model. I wonder how much the other models are influencing the score.

I remember the Q50 got poor ratings the first few years which hurt the Infiniti reliability and dependability ratings. There was a big jump from 2017 to 2018 though so maybe they're getting their $h!t together.

Well, you gotta figure if it's their most popular model then, statistically speaking, it's going to present the most problems compared to their other models. I'm actually surprised not to see more issues related to the 7AT creeping up since it's no secret that it hates torque.

I can't say I'd 100% go Infiniti as my next car but it's nice to see they haven't take a nose dive.

KIA and BMW are very surprising and I'm curious to see how the Stinger stands against the test of time. A bit surprised to see Mazda dropping that bad but Acura....wth?!?

leased a 2014 Q50 with DAS and it was the worst pos car I had ever owned.
