Unhappy Time to say goodbye to the G

Sadly the time has come for me to grow up. I paid a deposit on a Tesla X, and should probably get rid of my G. Hoping to get some thoughts on the matter from you guys. Here's her story:

2009 G37x (7AT)
Bought her used in 2011 with 30k miles
180 Custom headlights
Stillen supercharger in 2013
Stillen catback exhaust in 2013
Stillen rear spoiler
Eibach coilovers in 2014
Kingston Kustoms bumper in 2015
All engine internals all had to be replaced in 2015 at 60k miles.
Catalytic converters removed and replaced with test pipes when it got the new engine.
Custom tuned on new engine. Supposedly 525 at the flywheel but due to AWD it puts out 370 on the dyno.
Now has 67k miles.

Has some ongoing issues with memory ROM errors causing it to drop out of manual shifting and back into automatic, and sometimes lose throttle control. Both issues resolve with turning the car off and back on again.

Random misfires on cold starts cause frequent check engine light flashing.

Lack of catalytic converters make it sound like a horde of demons escaped from hell.

Honestly--who would want a car like this??? I know its quirks and love it, but to a new owner who wasn't familiar with these issues it would be a nightmare.

Can I expect to receive even the book value for it? I would keep it as a fun/track car, but wife doesn't want to carry the insurance on it.

Had to laugh at the demons from hell line. I'm shocked the AWD robbed that much power to the wheels. I'd always assumed it would be about 60-80 but over 120?? Wow. Good luck with the Tesla!

edit: part out and revert back to stock as much as possible and sell the FI and other after market mods on the forum. The SC will go quick and you'll at least pocket 4K for it and if you aren't worried about getting close to what you spent on you other aftermarket pieces they will get sucked up fast; people will probably trade their stock parts as part of the deal if you need them

Supercharged G with ongoing issues. I doubt you'll get even close to book.

You need to part it out to make anything back on it. I sold a civic with 10 grand sunk into it for 3500. Part it out

considering 2012 models at 30k miles can be had for 20-25k I couldn't agree more. Even if OP got the car at 15k the supercharger alone to install is 10-12k. Guarantee there's another 10k at least in the built internals, tune and other mods. All offers OP would get would be no where near what he's put into it unless he finds a niche buyer and even then, if they're smart, they'll argue him down

Thanks for the responses fellas. Yup I paid $30k for the car in 2011. Book value is about $15k now. I would say $25k in modifications. I don't even have a prayer of asking enough to break even on my "investment"--ok indulgence. I was thinking of listing it on Craigslist for about $18k and seeing what kind of interest I get. Bring on the joy riders.

Option 1. buy something for the wife and keep your new car and the old one.

Option 2. put the wife up for sale and keep both cars.
