What would you do?

Ahh, the big lease vs finance debate. Was roped into the lease terms back in 2009, ended up renewing the lease on my current ride (2012 x coupe). So, it's almost that time to make another decision. Looking for your thoughts on my situation:

2012 G37x Coupe, sport pkg, premium pkg, nav pkg, interior accents pkg, interior accent lights, sport exhaust, R2C intake, spoiler, LED kick plates, midnight black grille, simoniz clear coat, 3M clear bra.
Sticker price was something like $54k, ended up signing for like $48-50k out the door. Have a residual set at $28k... 39 month lease with 39,000 contracted miles.

I have kept the car in pristine condition. I will be able to turn the car in within the contracted miles. But, I have the cash to purchase it outright at the end of the lease if I choose to do so... Just finding it difficult to justify walking away from a hefty down payment, a car that is a pleasure to drive, and a car that I know the service history, just to try and save a few bucks by turning it in and buying something else used.

What would you do?

If you like the car, buy it out.

My leasing a 2014 Q50. Lease up up in November. I won't be buying it out. I'm losing a **** load of money.

Will never lease another car again.

I hear ya. Looking back, I would probably have not started the lease process with my first Infiniti... Oh well, different times and different situations. Would probably just be easier to bite the bullet and drive this car until it dies... Try to minimize my loss over the long haul.

How long did you renew the lease by?

Did the buy out price dropped by the amount of payments that were extended?

I should have been clearer: I leased from 09-12, then signed a new lease in 12-present to avoid paying any fees when my other lease ended. Plus I was leasing a sedan at the time and wanted a sport couple badly (so bad I hastily dropped money down on a new lease and had it fully loaded lol).

Either continue on just as you did with the lease from 09-current, or drop down to somethin with 15,000 miles or less (I prefer less than 10K) and buy it outright. You can find a great deal on a used sports coupe. I got a 12 vert with less than 10K miles for $248 a month. Can't beat those payments.
