thinking about leasing a Q60 (2014 g37)

So I'm thinking about selling my 2000 camaro ss and leasing the new Q60 aka new G37. The salesmen told me that the car is going to be the exact same thing as the current year model g just with the new name and that they are going to be changing the styling up in 2015. With that being said I am curious to know if there is any truth to that and what people think about the 39 month $399 a month with 3,999 down lease offer he gave me. Thanks guys

Hey there. First question to answer would be the model change. The sales guy is correct on that part. The body of the coupe is NOT going to change until the 2015's (from what we have been lead to believe). As for the pricing. There is no Nation-wide special posted quite yet BUT at my dealership here in Tucson we are doing a 2013 coupe journey premium package 24 month 10k/year $299 and $2,999 down. There are the Documentation, title, etc. fees that are not taken into consideration in these specials though. It is possible that your lease has been calculated with those fees rolled in. (The difference between 39months and 24months with the same amount down is only a few bucks FYI)

I hope this helps!

Happy driving

the $399 a month with $3999 initial payment is for a Q50, NOT a Q60.

Q60 leases are 24 month with minimal initial payment and monthly payments around $350-$500 per month depending on lease structure and equipment.

I forgot to mention I'm going to lease through the vehicle purchase program. I work for autozone so I'm gonna be leasing the Q60 6mt. I believe he said with the discount the car comes out to 43k and change if i go through with it. I didn't get a hundred percent of the details due to the fact i gotta try and sell my car first but from the sounds of things everything is included in the initial 3999.

Listen to me...as I much as I would love to have a customer as naive as you, you are being RIPPED OFF!

First of all, you should look at a current G37 6MT. They are identical cars, no difference. With VPP you can get a 2013 for around $7-$8k off of sticker. Your lease should be around $350 per month with around $1500 total drive off.

Sorry, I was thinking you had loyalty rebate.

With no loyalty you are at $1998 total drive off (all fees included) and $351 per month.

That is a fair VPP deal. You can probably negotiate even less depending on where you are located. If you are in SoCal, let me know, I can do even better than those numbers.

These numbers are based on a 2013 G37 Coupe 6MT

thank you for the help i appreciate it i looked into the vpp price for 2013's i believe its like 6400 off, this visit is just a preliminary visit i didnt do too much negotiating, that being said I am definitely going to talk to other dealerships and definitely wait till 2014s come out and see what deals there are. As well as check out other dealerships to see what counter offers i can get im gonna try and get 299
