20k.........

Sounds like you're buying from a private party. First get carfax. Check if the 100k warranty is the CPO warranty or an extended warranty purchased by the original owner. Price wise 25k isn't bad, but maybe you can get it down to 24-23k.

Extended warranty that is transferable. Already checked auto check and carfax.

So I guess what would be a fair price? And a steal price?

Are paddle shifters any good? Or I should look for a base coupe. I don't want 6mt as It is hard to find

LSG37S 07-24-2011 12:38 PM

Ok good the elite extended warranty is better than the cpo warranty, because it covers bumper to bumper not just powertrain. Like I said 25k isn't bad its fair, maybe you can get it down a little lower. This is a good car to go for, not a base.

trulegend 07-25-2011 04:08 PM

so i spoke to seller, he will think about lowering the price and lmk. when is the major maint 80K? car has about 60k currently

from a dealer, not too shabby of a price. Congrats and welcome!

kaoticdemize 07-27-2011 06:43 PM

good buy, price was good. Where you at in Nor-Cal? If your close enough I have a vendor that can do it for about 75 a wheel and does an amazing job. The 20k remark was garbage just ignore stuff like that lol Love when people just through stupid **** out there without backing it up.

trulegend 07-27-2011 08:05 PM

i picked it up from Private party, spoke to his service adviser seen all the records since day one.

Hi guys,

I am looking at one and wanted to find out your opinion. Blue slate/black interior

2008 G37 coupe Journey, Sport package, prem package, backup camera, nav, 19" wheels etc...

it is clean title with 60k miles and the infiniti Elite warranty that covers up to 100k miles or for march 2013. asking price $25k

Since everything would be under warranty mechanical wise, what should i look for exterior wise. owner claims no accidents, and paint is original

Please LMK what would be a fair price.

What did you end up paying for the car? I think you could have got it for $23K if you negotiated hard with the seller, but $25K isn't bad. I say this because of the crazy high milage. I paid $25.8K ($31K out the door) for my 08' G37S with premium 6MT. Thing is, mine only had 12K miles when I purchased her. However, you also have back-up camera and nav, which I don't have. More or less, I think it was a solid deal. Also, I noticed I have the same issue with my rims just not on the spoke but in the edge. Will need to get this fixed myself. Congrats on the car purchase though, feels good huh?:driving:

I thought all 6mt had nav and backup camera

I have owned many sports luxury cars in my life e46 m3 cl500 s2000 350z touring. Nothing compares to the G. Technology and features are very James bondishhh...

I was looking at g35s as a second car and noticed the high resale value for them and decided to stretch my budget and pick this up. :driving:
