DuuMaa's Build Thread

After searching for a G37 Sedan with a 6 speed manual transmission I have finally found one, located about 3 hours away from me I drove down in the morning and came back the owner of one. This one had 80,000 miles on it which wasn't a concern for me as I would be building the motor in the near future.

Suspension | Wheels/Tires

Within the first month of owning the car, it has gone through some coilovers. First I had a set of K Sports and after not liking the ride of them I switched over to some BC racing coilovers and is what it currently sits on. Also have the SPC front upper control arm and rear camber kit.

Suspension
- BC BR Type Coilovers
- SPC Upper Control Arms
- SPC Rear Camber Kit

Wheel Specs
Gram Lights 57Xtreme
F: 19x10.5 +43 w/5mm spacer
R: 19x10.5 +43

Nitto Invo
F: 255/40-19

Exhaust

I've had the HKS Hi-Power on the car while I waited for the Tomei Titanium exhaust came back in stock. Keep in mind this is the exhaust for the 370Z and modifications have to be made.

As of right now, the exhaust is mocked up on the car and Tomei is helping me out on this project with supplying me with the titanium piping and flanges needed for this.

Very nice pieces you're putting together, those honeycomb etched light are pretty wild.
Look forward to more details and plans. BTW, what differences between the KSports & BCs have you found, and what spring rates were in both if you have that info?
Moving this to the build folder~

Thanks! Those headlights get a bunch of attention anywhere I go. Bigger build will come soon. Will post those updates as it goes.

Not sure on the KSports, but they were used and we had them lying around here. Got offered what I had in them so I sold them. The BC's are pretty stiff at the springs that come with them. 12k/10k. I don't daily the car so it doesn't bother me as much anymore.

Thank you, sorry about that.

LOVE IT!!! Definitely my favorite LP sedan that I've seen.
Are the clear lenses in the turn signal spot a 2.5" or 3"?

Great build my friend, looking forward to seeing it turn out! Did you do the headlight work yourself or have it done at a shop?

Thank you. I did them myself. Longest part was getting all of the parts in. Wasn't sure on what all to get so I ordered as I needed. Have done a couple more since then and I try to stock extras of each part now.

Some pretty unique stuff here. That honeycomb etching is like nothing I've ever seen. That's a fascinating detail.

Are you in the DFW area? It's nice to see someone with such a clean G that is local. I'm in the south dallas area. I see you have some type of DFW decal on the rear window.
