The more expensive dash cams have a "parking mode" feature which means after you turn your car off and park it, the dash cam will remain on and continue recording certain events. The Dash cam has a motion sensor and G-sensor. If it detects something moving past the front or rear camera it will kick on and record for 20 seconds. It will show footage of 10 seconds before the motion detection and 10 seconds after the motion detection. This way you can see what lead up to the event.

Same for the G-sensor. If it detects a bump/shock ie. someone bumping your car, it will record a 20 second file. 10 seconds of what lead up to the event and 10 seconds after the event.

The Dashcam I have is the Thinkware F750. It's a bit dated (2 years old) now but it does the job. The newer version is the Thinkware F800 which has a "night vision" mode that makes video recording at night look a lot more brighter.

However, if I was in the market for a dash cam I would look at the new Blackvue DR750S. The front facing camera records in 60FPS which is very very smooth and clear.

I look at dash cameras as a safety and security investment. If you get rear-ended at a stop sign or someone hits your vehicle backing out of a parking spot while your inside walmart, you will have footage to show it.

I haven't used it for insurance purposes yet, but that's the main reason why I bought it in the first place. I have a nice car so I figured I would invest in a quality dash cam for it.

Skip to 0:45 in the video above to see the buttery smooth 60FPS camera in action.
I’m going look into these. Interested in the f800

After a long wait, got a bunch of goodies. Might I say worth the wait. These intakes and throttle bodies are so nice! Come out perfect! Definitely looks the nicest quality between the z1/stillen g3/k&n typhoon I’ve owned until this point.

Goodies to install this weekend hopefully!
admin 3 inch intakes with bungs welded on for nitrous
eps 70mm throttle bodies
retune on uprev

it might be a few weeks before I do the injectors and fuel pump.
New setup

Eps 70 mm big bore kit

Nitrous bung

In front of radiator piece

Inside uprev e cable

Throttle body adaptor plate

Just in case anybody needed filter part numbers. Excited to get away from k&n

Stopped by Shop today to have them diagnose the radiator issue and to make sure it was the radiator.
It was the radiator. The second one I’ve had to replace on this car in a year in a half. I won’t be giving csf another try.
Ordered a oem radiator/thermostat/coolant. I will be dropping the car off at royalty performance with Justin, close to my house in Gwinnett on Friday morning.

List of stuff being done,
Replace radiator and thermostat
Install admin intakes and eps throttle bodies
Install fuel pump and bosch injectors
Throttle bodies coolant bypass
Replace SERP belt
Adjust headlights up to best angle
Fix issue with hard right hand turns (header clearance issue)
Grease sway bars front/rear
Possible header heat shield of some sort (admin intake moves wiring closer to the headers, hoping to cut down on some heat.)

Busy shop day ahead Too bad about your poor luck w/ radiators but oem should suffice.
Look forward to impressions after your latest work, nice list!

Thanks! Moncef has the first tune ready to send as soon as it’s installed. I’ll keep y’all updated.

TIMES TO BEAT (Racelogic logged numbers with one foot roll out leaving trans in d)
0-60, 0-100, 1/4 mile, 60ft The comparison is going to be fun.
4.5. 11.2. 13.0. 1.9

TIMES TO BEAT FROM DRAG STRIP (manual mode brake boosting all runs) (wish I could compare times in d with no brake boost, I do think leaving in d and no brake boost is faster from a dig...at least on my car)
1/8, 1/4
8.6@84 13.3@105

Still waiting on a fuel pump for this to be finished. So excited. Should be good to go tomorrow. I plan on doing a video walk around of the car when it’s done this week.
Not the finished product but almost there!
Pump assembly. Bunch of crap! Glad I’m swapping it out 40k miles ownership!

These wires have to move below

See the tab that hits the intake

This is it here

Random picture

This part hits the grill/bumper where I’m pointing in next picture.

This part of grill/bumper has to be trimmed

The engine cover will have to be trimmed also to fit new throttle bodies on both sides

The engine cover will have to be trimmed also to fit new throttle bodies on both sides

Cusco front strut tower brace will require a 1/4-3/8 inch washer. I’m keeping the brackets and having a custom one made that’s stronger. I can make the Cusco ftsb now with one finger...

Injectors
New injectors in, solder new pig tails in.

New caps to replace the eBay junk I got
10x better quality. These don’t feel like they will go flying off like the other eBay ones did.

Can't wait to see the results from the Admintuning intakes and EPS TB's!

I'm pulling the trigger soon on those intakes along with an e-tune by Moncef.

Thanks for the update. Great results! Are you running the e85 tune or 93 for these times?

I agree about the throttle bodies. Seems pointless to grind the p/n off unless it’s for legal rebranding or something. Why do that?

Looking forward to more results. There are no tuners in my neck of the woods if I were to go this route so an E-tune is my only option. I like the e85 option as well. Great work you guys!
