Yeah man! Should some fairly easy. Both front and rear replacements are same gear ratio (3.69) from 2007-2008 g35 and g35x.

Wow! All the fun stuff for the drivetrain! Can't wait to see your 1/4 mile and 0-60 times!

That front pumpkin is underneath the motor. Are you going to lift it to get it out or is there another way to pull it outa there?

He can either pull the driver's side oil pan shaft and drop the diff or drop the engine slightly and pull the diff out.

Did Level10 ever go into what exactly they do with their VBs? I asked once and Pat asked me to call but I forgot and never got around to it. I was wondering if they used Sonnax replacement valves or what exactly they did to the VB to address things. Curious if they went over it with you. I can't wait to hear how is behaves, it's been on my list for a bit.

I just called and pat isn’t in office till Monday. However they could give little info other than he rebuilds and re engineered the valve body and torque converter. On Monday I will be asking what is it that he did to address the issue and ask about the replacement valves and what else if different from oem.

On my side dealing with them has been great. Very friendly. Seems like it might be a family run business which I love.

Super easy process, remove valve body and send it in and you get it back like a week later.
-The level 10 tc he shipped to me first by itself.
-Then I removed my tc to send back as core ($500) and at that time sent the untouched oem valvebody back to them for them to work there magic.
-Got my credit for the core on tc in a day or so
-They received the valvebody and got to work. Send back a day later and in a week or so I had it all done and ready to install.

zer099 is the man haha thank god he’s local, helped me figure so much out over the years. He has already done the 3.69 swap on his x sedan and is full of very deep money saving knowledge for x owners lol haha atleast has been for me. Haven’t gotten a response from my mechanic (justin@royaltyperformance) for plan for action for the front diff.
He’s working on that today, but also working in some time today to hopefully measure another x sedan he has on the lift currently for a new 1 piece driveshaft. Once I got the measurement, I’m ordering a couple of the rear driveshafts for some fellow members

That is a ton of goodies you got.
What will be the RPM difference be when your doing 70 mph with the new gears?

zer099 06-11-2018 11:52 AM

In 7th, with stock gear, is in the area of 2250 RPMs. With the 3.692 gears you are about at 2500 RPMs at 70mph.

Thanks buddy! As he said, not that much. Only around 250-300 rpm. Zer099 is only person That I have been able to get a hold of that has actually done the diff swap in a g37x. Going to borrow his scales to corner balance the car in a couple weeks, should be fun! Hopefully it’s not sad to see what it weighs lol

I assume i could get a g35 diff RWD and swap out mine? (non X)
