Parker's G37x Coupe

Hello! I got my G a little over a year ago and decided to start a thread on here.

The car before my G was an 03 Mitsubishi Eclipse. It was a fun car, but I decided I needed something else after three years. I found this G for a decent price at my local dealer and after the test drive I was hooked! It had Bose, Navi, and only 32k miles. I just had to get this car, it was too perfect to pass up.

Looks good, nicely done. How is the ride on the Eibachs? I'm considering a set of springs until I spend the money on coilovers.

Thanks! I told myself I wasn't going to go crazy with the mods when I got the car, but that didn't last long, haha. The ride is great! About the same or better than stock.

I told myself the exact same thing. Didn't work for me either.... Thank you for the feedback.

Got my GT Spec Strut Bar. Handling afterwards is amazing. I can't believe how much of a difference it makes!

Hey!, your G is looking good. Not sure if you remember me at all, but I was on the Club3G forum as well - I think I sold you the Tein coilovers. I have a picture of my Eclipse in my build thread.

I remember you, Ryne! Thanks, man! Yeah, I bought the Teins from you. Shortly after I bought them I decided I was going to buy a new car, haha. Your car looks good, man!

I went back yesterday and looked up the guys thread who you sold the Tein coilovers to. Looks like he got them installed and is happy, I'm glad they finally got put to use after bouncing around for a while.

Are you happy with the Eibach springs still? How comfortable is the ride compared to stock? any issues/noise?

Ahh, he finally got them installed. I followed him for a while and it seemed like he never got around to it. Yeah, I felt dumb buying them just to turn around and sell them. I had an obvious good reason, lol.

Eibach's are awesome. Ride is just as good or a little better than stock. In my opinion, they are the perfect drop for the X. Not sure if you're set on the springs, but I know there is a group buy going on for Fortune Auto 500 coils. They need two more people before they begin development. I plan to switch to coils when my struts/shocks start to get bad. Stay away from the BC coils. People that own them say the "clunking" noise in the rear isn't that bad, but I don't want to spend almost 1k on noise.

So... I got a bunch of goodies in this week. Starting off simple...

Then I got this fun shipment.

Spacers! Finally! 25mm B2. Amazing quality. Excuse the dirty car.

I'll have better pictures of the sides tomorrow night. I'll be washing and clay barring the car from bumper to bumper tomorrow. I think all but one or two clips broke off the old skirts. Next are the headlights!
