Is it bad that the first thing that caught my eye was your Maxima? Beautiful car. Oh and I guess your G37S is nice too.

Nice work, makes me wish that I purchased a 6MT.

Nice to see this thread get bumped with progress. Good DIY job on the headlights! I'm jealous.

Reading back to the top here, I feel almost like we're doing the same things to the same car, only you're modding 10x faster than me. It took me four years and 1000 comments to get where you are at 6 months and 30 posts. Too funny.

I realize the point of this picture is to look at that razor sharp cut-off. And it is pretty impressive. However...

OMG that garage! It's like one of those trick videos where you're supposed to count the number of times they pass the ball between them, all the while ignoring the giant dancing bear.

They made a clunking noise in the rear. I spent countless hours troubleshooting. I didn't want to deal with it and sold them. The next owner had the issue too but didn't care.

It was an awesome car, I miss it. 6MT is nice but there are times I wish I was 7AT. And those times I do, I just hop in my GF's 7AT G37S .

You definitely paved the way for my mods John. I am a very indecisive person and you helped me through the way. I think I am going too fast with the mods that is why I am taking my time to pick out suspension. No rush, the car handles great with the 275's out back and sways on sport suspension.

haha, that is not my garage! But I agree, it is a mess and very troublesome getting around. I just use the house for the driveway.

Really? That just made my day. Thanks.

That's true.

If you're wondering about the lower engine cradle braces, I got nothing to say. With an aftermarket suspension and sways, it's a non-existent change, IMO. That said, I still stand behind the FSTB as worthy and noticeable.

Are you considering the Z1 Tranny Mount bushing? I'm certainly planning on it next Summer, to compliment a STS. Credit to 4DRZ, paving the way there on the Sedan.

And I'm still on-target (with the wifey and the budget, LOL) for a Springtime install of 4.083 gears with Whiteline Diff bushings. You?

So did you end up trying that top hat "fix" for the BCs or just gave up on them?
If you did try the fix was there any improvement? Just curious, and G/L with whatever suspension plans you end up with.

FSTB is definitely on my list. It's a piece of metal so I will definitely buy that used. Hmm,the Z1 tranny + STS... I will probably wait till towards the end of the year after I hear feedback. I'm pretty happy with the way the car shifts. There is a lot of slop in the shifter and the shifter does have a lot of movement in gear.

4.083 gears are also on the list, test pipes, manifold, and ecutek should round out my power goals for being N/A.

I talked to BC and they wanted me to send them the rear coilovers to re-build them for a few hundred. I had an opportunity to sell them and make some money on top of it so I just did that.

I wrapped the roof today using Hexis gloss black vinyl. The shark fin must come off and it's done by dropping the rear headliner. It's just a bunch of clips so just start pulling from the C pillars inwards.

Yeah Man.

I see what you mean about the spacers for the front. Thanks.

Also, I hate to say it, but that roof has me thinking. LOL.

I installed a Z1 bolt-on 20mm spacer up front to even out the rears.

Here is my Beluga Racing resonated test pipes. In addition, I used Blox 02 spacers, Z1 metal gaskets for the header to test pipe merge, and their regular gaskets for the Y-pipe to test pipe merge. The fitment of the test pipes was excellent. There is no leaks, no CEL yet, and no rasp. I have the Invidia Q300 which is probably the quiestest catback available for the car. I haven't driven many miles on it yet but I can't notice any drone. The car is still pretty quiet, surprisingly quiet for test pipes. In the next couple of weeks, I will write up a review of the Beluga test pipes because noone really has said much about them. They are built well, reasonably priced, and supposedly share the same manufacturer as Top Speed.
