Update Incoming: Saving this for my completed spring install pics and info. Started this evening, ran into a snag on the first strut (damn that top hat), but successfully got the first one off, now having experienced this one time the passenger one should be easier. My neighbor agreed to help me in the morning as my back was killing me. Hopefully have the whole thing done by lunch so I can wash the car, put on MYG37.com decal and take it to Carmax for them to do my paint work Monday morning. Should hear back Monday from my friend Mike on my wheels as well. I guess the only thing I need now is some luck. LOL.

So my initial opinion on the Swift springs is that they are an awesome riding spring and close to OEM in terms of comfort. Larger bumps are more noticeable, but the car is closer to the ground so it's to be expected. I love the springs. The fronts were hard for myself and a neighbor to get done, took us about 2.5 hours each due to my underpowered air compressor. The backs were easy as pie, one bolt and a floor jack to change them. I had to leave my car at Carmax a few days for some paint work on my hood and front bumper. The good news is I ordered my tires and my wheels are done so should have them mounted and balanced before the weekend. I get the car back Thursday so if my tires come in they'll be on Friday! P.S. tires are: 245/40/19s and 275/35/19s. BF Goodrich pro sport comp-2s.

Those are the exact tire sizes recommended to me by Newt and Diego a few weeks back. Seeing them in person and mounted on 8.5" fronts and 10" rears looks just about as perfect as can possibly be. So you got that opinion to look forward to.

Goodrich, eh? Man, I haven't had a BF Goodrich tire in almost 30 years. IIRC, they were Comp TA's, with RWL. I kind of miss RWL.

I had some Goodrich G-Force on my G35 and they were a nice tire overall.

Any issues with your sedan being an "X" as far as the tire size is concerned? Or is the outer diameter good to go?

Well I used the 1% rule for tire sizes vs the OEM rolling diameter and vs front to back. I haven't installed them yet, but I'll be picking them up in a few minutes and tire install should be by Saturday.

Awesome man.. Do you have sways already installed? Or are you going springs and wheels first?

Wait, I missed that the OP has an X, and those OEM Sport rims he bought and restored are staggered.

Deelow, aren't those 8.5" front, and 9.5" rear? If that's the case, won't 275/35/19 be large on that rear wheel? :dunno:

I must be missing something here. The sidewall stretch will be different front to back. I'm only saying that because they look perfectly identical on my rims front to back (on my dining room table), and I have those same size tires, but on 10" wide rears.

The stagger is 8.5 front and 9 rear, they'll be a bit fat in the rear. Brad and I even discussed a 285/35/19. Lol.

Actually the coupe 19s are barely staggered, just a 8.5/9" set, so the fronts will be a more traditional fit and the rears slightly pinched, the sidewalls on the 275/9" rim will be similar to the fit w/ my 295s on a 10". Just a bit more sidewall bulge in back but still within the recommended rim size range for a 275 series.
