No need to physically send the ecm back to GTM. They will send you the ROM files and cable for you to flash the ecu from your laptop. You will have the ability to data log and ensure that everything is in line.

I took my Evo to The Shop a few years ago. They do good work and Jimmy is a good guy.

EMS is still under discussion. I want to know more. Jimmy mentioned a HalTech? What do you know or suggest, please. I know I have the option of sending the EMS back to Sam at GTM. I will listen to Jimmy's advice first and foremost. He's in charge and knows the drill.

Yea, I'd seriously consider what your local tuner is comfortable with. FWIW, I've had great success on my HR using HKS F-CON iS ... clean integration with HKS CAMP2 as well.

^They have tuned my car when I had a Utec and also my Haltech which is my current setup.

They also recently tuned my new built motor with the Haltech on a break in tune on wastegate only, once I have put a few miles we will connect the EBC and turn up the boost and meth.

They are perfectly capable

Welcome to the Club. I'm up the road in Clinton with a Stage 2 GTM kit I installed myself. Great kit and worth more than they charged!

Good luck and keep us posted.

One step closer. All the GTM parts arrived. Kit and full exhaust!

The Shop was buzzing this afternoon: One of the guys ran a grill with kebob's and pork chops and sausages, all while they were blasting dyno runs on Evo's and readying two GTR's for upgrades. Never a dull moment.

We will look over the manuals and Jimmy will assign one of his better techs to the task. Soon.

YUP! I brought in (5) folding tables for food. I'll be there with my wife and 8-yr-old son.

Sorry, I have no idea what 4was is. I have the G37 sport, not the G37x (All-wheel drive). Thanks again!

4 wheel active steer. It's where the rear wheels turn slightly. Do you have the tech package?
