I'm planning on buying 20s for my 2011 G37xS coupe. Need some advice.

The size I'm after is 245/35/20 and from the research I've done they seem to be a good choice. What do you think?

I'm also curious about getting spacers and having the rims offset to +35, would you say those are good choices?

My suspension, shocks and springs are all stock and I'm going from stock rims/tires (225/45/19) to these new rims.

Let me know what you think, I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

The tire width would be 9.5 inches as I want a wider and more stanced tire

What wheels are you considering? Many aftermarket wheels have several offset choices so I wouldn't consider spacers unless the wheels aren't available in the proper offsets and those are the only wheels you are wanting.

If you want to run 245/35/20s a 8.5 to 9" width is best. I run 245s on my 18x9.5s in the front, but ideally a 255 to 275 width is a better mount on that wheel width. I would reconsider and run a 255/35/20 and an offset of +25 to +30 without needing spacers.

You're going to want to drop it. 20's are going to make the car look like a 4x4 on stock suspension.

That's true, the larger diameter wheels give the illusion of a larger fender gap.

Also since your X coupe is an S model you'll have to confirm clearance for the large brake calipers, many wheels won't clear.

Well buy right wheels with offsets that work and dont pepboys your car by sticking some pawnshop wheels on it
