anyone know what this leak is?

Recently I've been noticing a little puddle being leftover whenever i back out of my spot in the garage. the color seems to be yellowish and pretty clear, similar to new brake fluid but I'm not sure. The leak is coming from right under the driver side. Any feedback or knowledge will be much appreciated.

I was able to tighten up the screw in the middle. seems to be loose so hopefully that will solve the problem.

Does it smell like motor oil or brake fluid, or something else?

It was hard to smell cause the odor wasn’t strong enough. Wiped up the small puddle with paper towel and tried to smell it but it was too faint. I checked my motor oil and I don’t think it’s that since it’s a little darker due to 3500 miles since my last oil change.

Looks like your steering rack may be leaking....I had something similar and the steering rack was leaking. Dealer replaced under warranty.

Damn, I’m guessing if that’s the case then I’ll probably have to replace it with a whole new steering rack. Seems Easy enough by watching videos on YouTube.

Yea that's your steering rack. I would just leave it alone if there is no screeching noise coming from the engine and your steering wheel is still easy to turn...To replace it is expensive if you can't do it yourself. I mean its only like an hour job doing it yourself but the mechanics will chagre you outrageous amounts

Keep an eye on the power steering fluid level, if it keeps going down, you will have no choice but to replace it.
