2015 Q50S and 2012 G37xS Tires
Hello All,
I am planning to upgrade my Q50S and G37xS tires.
2015 Q50S
-I am planning on changing the stock tires from 245/40R19 to 255/40R19. Would there be any issues?
2012 G37xS
-Will be going from 245/45R19 to 255/40R19. Based on my research with the "search" button, there shouldn't be any issues. Can anyone confirm?
------------------
Neither vehicle are used for racing of any sort. Just a simple spirited driving.
For both the Q50S and G37xS, I want to make sure there will not be any rubbing issues, ride safety issues or fitment issues. Can those of you with experience provide some feed back?
Also, if possible, please also provide tire size recommendations if any of you felt a better alternative exist. Both vehicle are on stock 19in rims.
Thank you all in advance.

I assume the Q50S is AWD, going from a 245/40 to a 255/40 is just a bit over 1% larger in diameter and since you're keeping the same tires front & back you won't have any problems except a 1% speedometer difference.
For your 2012 G37XS coupe your oem sizes should be 225/45/19 on the 19x8.5 wheels. The 245/45 that you are currently running is not a great match, so if you're having no issues currently you'll be much better running the 255/40/19s as these are only a minimal 0.06% difference in diameter for the original 225/45s.
HTHs,
Brad

Thank you so much Brad!
In terms of Q50S, it is actually a rear wheel drive. Would that change your answer to my question?

Brad, I do apologize for making this more confusing. I just realized I missed typed. I am running stock 225/45R19 on my 2012 G37xS.
For this, I will be going from 225/45R19 to 255/40R19. Given that the diameter is virtually the same and only the width of the tires increased, I shouldn't have any trouble right?
I am concerned that the wheel might rub on something. What do you think?
