Caliper vinyl wrap

Here's a new vinyl product that should make changing your caliper color pretty simple~

Interesting concept! I wonder if its easier than a respray though. caliper resprays don't require a ton of precision and only take a few minutes to do.

Duplicolor makes spray that peels off like vinyl

Do you mean for brake calipers (i.e. high heat applications?)

I was thinking about this being an interesting product but I would think on something as intricate as a caliper it would just be a pain to wrap....on the other hand it may be useful for engine dress up where spraying is not easy anyways

Some calipers would be pretty easy to wrap but not sure w/ the Akebonos since they have quite a few surface changes.

I've heard people using that peel off plastidip type spray but not sure how well it holds up, or how hard it would be to remove once it's heat cycled???

I was thinking about the Akebonos in particular might be difficult. It may be worth it still to get that reflective finish which would be an interesting effect under the wheels at night

I saw a video on facebook, they looked great in the video. Too bad I don't have Akebono calipers :(

looks like a pita to do... folks have used dip on their exhaust tips
cant see why it wouldn't work on a cooler caliper..
