G37 pulls left/right when braking

I've got a used 2011 G37 vert. When I brake on flat surfaces the car steers straight. When I brake on a road that has any level of wear from use, the car will pull either left or right. It's like the front end is being pulled into the worn area of the road. I've owned many cars in the past, all sedans or vans, and have not seen this behavior. Is this typical for a car like the G37 vert?

Thanks!

Road crown could be the cause....I would think it would pull left if you are in the left most lane, and right if you are in the right most lane. Is that what you are seeing?

If so it might not be so much the car as it is the "sporty" tires on the car, and the road surface wearing/settling on the outer edges/lanes.

This is my first ever "sporty" car so I think you're right in regards to the tires following the crowns in the road.

Thanks for the reply. Wanted a sanity check.

rdog, check your tire pressure. When I bought my G, it was used and came with the stock tires that were a) worn, b) ~30psi instead of the 35psi recommended. The front of the car seemed to have a mind of its own, especially on uneven roads/'crowns.' After pumping up tires back to spec it felt great! It happened again after a few weeks, my fronts leak faster than my rears. I made a note to check weekly.

The PSI should be listed on driver's side door jam.
