Adam's Rotors? R1 Concepts?

Anyone using these rotors? or have any info of these brands? I'm picking up a set of the front sport brakes so I need new rotors. I'm just looking for alternatives to the stoptech that most people run. I like that adam's can be customized (any combo of drill/slotted/dimpled, rotor finish, and hub coating).

Any info would be great thanks!

Check them out on stanceworks.com, theyre a sponsor over there and have info up.

I have Adams Rotors and so far so good. Fair price, you can customize them, a little lighter than OEM, stop well and no more squeak in reverse.

^how long have you had them? Which style did you order (dimple, drilled etc)? I'm thinking about getting them.

Fentress24 Jun 8, 2012 09:13 AM

I have heard nothing but good things. I know of 2 people that have them. I say go for it.

BTW, you are in Moco, MD. I am in Howard County, Md. Right next to you. A local member. Christian has Adam's Rotors on his TT G37.

I have had them for about 3-4 months now. I went with just slotted, diamond finish (I think) and matte black hats.

Yea I'm assuming I'll need new pads. What's a good brand? hawk?

Kidcane Jun 8, 2012 05:45 PM

Depends what you are doing. Hawk are good but a bit hard. Great for track. I ended up going with the Posi Quiet street pads.

AceJack Jun 9, 2012 09:18 AM

What are the differences between the two? I'm not tracking my car if I'm buying all this stuff I would like to save a little bit on the pads then =)
