Can't powder coat '08 coupe stocks???
So I just got off the phone with Wheels America who I heard good things about and I'm not bashing them here...but was told you cannot powder coat '08 G37S coupe wheels!! He said if they are the "hyper silver" they have to be "painted" not powder coated??? Sound right???

You might have misunderstood. They probably won't take the risk of weakening the aluminum, by the heat needed to cure PC. Many places won't PC an aluminum wheel. |
I thought any metal can br powder coated? It's been done though

Yeah thats what i would think.. the only thing i have hear of problems is if that same wheel has gone through chrome plating and powdercoated many times as it will probably weaken the wheel. |
So is it better to powdercoat them or just use some duplicolor spray paint.

I powdercoated mine bronze and drove the piss out of them with zero problems. Find a new shop.
