Tanabe's springs before and after Alignment
Here is my alignment sheet, you can definitely get them aligned within spec without a camber kit. Well the rears of mine are off by .1 but still, very close to spec.

http://home.comcast.net/~jason_edmonds/alignment.jpg wait how come the numbers from the front left and front right and rear left and rear right are different in the actual and before sections like the front left actaul is -.9 and before in -.9 and for the front right the actual is -1.0 and the before is -1.0 |

like the front left actaul is -.9 and before in -.9 and for the front right the actual is -1.0 and the before is -1.0 Lol, but seriously... if i understand what ur saying correctly, ur asking why alot of the numbers for the front are the same BEFORE and ACTUAL..... well i would say that just goes to show you how little of an impact the Tanabe springs have with alignment on the front. Was hardly off at all "BEFORE" (which is AFTER the lowering, but BEFORE the alignment took place) the "ACTUAL" is what they are set to NOW after the alignment. Right guys? |
well I meant why are the left and right different, shouldn't they be even with each other.
|
^^ah ok, not 100% on that but i was thinking its due to the limitations of the shop/equipment. Can't get everything absolutely lined up to match on both sides and be exact. There might be discrepancies btwn right and left by at most .1
That's just how i see it since after looking at a few of these alignment spec sheets i did notice that. I got a friend who tracks his car quite alot and he gets his car aligned from a performance shop which has a Laser Precision Alignment machine or something like that, and he says he gets a perfect alignment to the specs that he wants within .001 accuracy. Unless ur racing alot, im sure it will be fine. That's my take on it at least. |
