lowering springs

Hey guys, im looking to get my g37xs sedan AWD lowering springs and I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations? (Id like to get my car slammed so lmk if u guys know of any lowering springs that slam the car) Thanks!

Springs won't slam the car, coilovers will. I'd be a bit wary about slamming an awd due the transfer case. I hear those are pretty pricey too replace.

Swift is a good spring, it won't slam your car but its a good spring..

My car has the Eibach springs. About the same low as Swifts, except the rear sits a little lower visually.

Stuff is constantly scraping. Especially the cats. I wouldn't go lower than just springs.

Over the last decade, Swift has been the go-to lowering spring for the AWD Sedan, with a usable drop and least apparent difference in gap front to rear. People often drop their AWD Sedan on Swifts and the change in camber is reasonable without having to spring (no pun) for control arms. I don't know if there's better out there these days, but that's the opinion I've had for a while.

Oh hey! Look at this... a FS thread going on right now for Swift Springs on the AWD Sedan:

The awd coupe springs will work in a sedan. Any springs, stock, Swift, Eibach.

In fact, you might prefer the coupe springs as rears will likely be stiffer than sedan rears, which will further reduce the massive understeer designed into sedan awd suspension.

You should definitely replace the super wimpy rear awd swaybar with a rwd bar. All rwd G bars are the same. S rwd isn't any bigger than all the other rwd (and all awd are the same wimpy size, xS or regular x).

So find a used stock bar of any rwd G. Even a G25. Just make sure its rwd.

The x front swaybar is already the biggest front bar of any G (plus rwd front bar wouldn't fit, so no way to swap, unless you go aftermarket).

The drops are stated on Swift's websites depending on the exact vehicle.

Here's my x on swifts. They're hard to find but worth it for sure. Ride is comfy and you don't need camber kits.

I'm still considering coils tho, we'll see.

^^^
There's another fine example of Swift Springs on the AWD Sedan. Looks absolutely perfect to me.

When you say Swift springs, are you meaning "just" the springs? Would that require a spring puller and put them on over the stock struts?
I am unsure and trying to figure out if I would like coilovers or what to do a mild drop to my X (dont want to be a snowplow car in MN)
