Z1 Motorsports brake line issues. Anyone had THIS??? *pics*

I did an Akebono brake upgrade a few years ago on my G. Went with the Z1 Motorsports "Premium" Stainless Steel Brake lines. Noticed today that my passenger front side is cracking. Need to replace it asap. Anyone had this problem with their lines????

That's just the poly sheath failing due to the very sharp angle. The braided steel sheath and the teflon inner line are fine.

I remember when installing it, the line didn't have enough slack and had this sharp angle. Poor design due to short lines? I tried getting as much slack as possible there and that's the best i could have gotten, and now over time this is the result.
It appears it has a small leak there or something? brakes feel just fine and the fluid is all full, but where it's ripped there it has a oil residue around it.

As you mention, bend is too sharp. You'd have no brake pedal if you had a leak of the internal line. Have you reached out to the seller to see if they'll replace 'em (hopefully with an updated longer line)?

Are you able to adjust the bracket for the brake line on your coilover lower? That may get you a little slack.

Lower the bracket. Hopefully doesn't pull on the other side

Thanks for the responses guys. The only way I can find a little slack right now is bending the bracket somehow or lowering the brake line mount that is around the strut all the way down. That's really all I can do. It really needs longer lines in order to make it work perfect.
And yes I reached to the Z1 guys and just waiting for their response this upcoming week.

Thank God it's not leaking, but over time it might. It's strange is has an oil residue around the rip but no leak seems like.

hmmm, i have the same brake lines and mine don't have those sharp bends. Maybe it's the shocks, I noticed on yours the square block thing on the shocks sits way higher than the other one bolted to the suspension.

yeah I think its the location of the line mount on the BC BR coilover shock that I have here.
