Both springs done, I'm back home now and will be reinstalling the struts to the car. Woot.

Final update:

I got the whole car buttoned back up. It doesn't ride terrible. It looks great. I sort of see the rear sag more than the front, like others have reported. It's not enough that I'm concerned with it. This drop is planned to get me through the next year and a half, when I'll be doing air ride.

Thanks lol. Imagine the frustration that it takes to eventually make you happy enough to kiss a strut assembly! 😂

Definitely can't say it enough to not try this at home!

The spring compressor I used from Advance Auto worked perfectly to compress my stock springs in order to remove the front strut top mounts for my Tein COs.

True; but the problem lies with getting them back on with the eibachs. Because of the way the progressive rate portion(?) of the coil is wound, they’re too close to get the tangs on the tool through.

I can relate to the kissin the coil pic!

This right here. The tein s tech springs don't have as many coils wound close to each other in the progressive coils. Not the same comparison and the eibachs are exactly what I wanted as far as drop.
