Springs are something I’ve been working on. The lack of data on our various stock parts between the Infiniti and Nissan lines is amazing. I refuse to use progressive rates, and trying to compile a list of stock rates and free length to make choices easier.

Update.

The listed Koni inserts require a strut tube that is >1.71” in diameter. Below the rolled crimp of an own strut is 1.65. Looks like there is some stretch room to play with.

The problem i am seeing is the shortest insert is 1.5” length than sock. I shot an email to Koni since I know they have smaller inserts in their lineup.

Is that supposed to read, "The problem i am seeing is the shortest insert is 1.5” longer than stock strut length"?

If you're interested in the rear free length of RWD S, I can help with that. Front springs are still on the dampers.

Yep longer. I was already planning on overboring the bottom of the housing and working with my machine shop owning buddy to fab spacers to accommodate. Honestly if I can get a 12.5” long, 4.25” stroke, 1.8” OD insert I’d be happy.

Don’t need the rears as Koni has an off the shelf figment for the rwd cars.

I have an email in tona contact at Koni to see what they have that will give me a precise fitment. There are a ton of inserts they make, but the recent catalogs only list a handful.

Just bumping this thread up. I appears that @Corprin hasn't been online for several months, but in the off chance that by me bumping this thread, they might get an email notification.
