Front end vibration - HELP!
Hey guys, long time lurker.
I’m pulling my hair out with this front end vibration. Bit of back story, the car is a 08 G37s, 150k miles, stock suspension.
I purchased the car a year ago and it had a slight steering wheel vibration at different speeds mostly around 45-60mph. The vibration was heavier under braking, I replaced the pads with Akebonos and Stop-tech rotors. (It doesn’t vibrate all the time, some times is shakes the wheel more times then others. Some times at 30 I get the vibration, some times I don’t)
Vibration still persisted and a few months later I started getting front end noise pointing towards the front wheel hubs. (This is my third G, seems to be common at least for me anyway). I replaced both front hubs in hopes that it’d cure the front end vibration.. still nothing.
After reading a million threads in countless forums I decided to go back to the basics, and get my tires balanced on a road force balancer.. no change. Decided to throw my winter tires on in hopes that maybe it was a damaged wheel on my summers. Winters act the exact same. Road force balanced them, still vibrated.
One thing I did notice in my summer tires, the FR tire had considerable wear on the inside, I thought maybe my toe spec was out.
Fast forward to last week I had an alignment done, everything came back within spec. (I had checked my balljoints (obviously) prior and didn’t noticed any play, the tech reaffirmed that. I don’t know where to go from here. Could it be the bushings in my lower control arms? I don’t want to start throwing more useless money at it. I don’t see any leaks or weeping at the rack. Please chime in if you have any opinions on where I should look next.
Cheers,
Cam

So I was lurking this forum and I had this same situation earlier in the year. Turns out my calipers were stuck because the set pins(?) on the of the calipers were rusty
Bottom circle and theres another on the top of the caliper. Pull them out and clean the rust off of them and see if that works. I'm mad because mine is a G35S with standard brakes all the way around.
