Brake pads and disc

Hi,

I have a G37X 2012 coupe. I’d like to know if you guys have any recommendations for disk and brake pads (looking for front and back as a kit (if possible))

Also, do you think it’s better to buy the original piece or it doesnt matter? whatever the opinion do you mind letting me know why. Yes yes I’m still a newbie.

send the link below or the model and I’ll check it out.

PS: I’m from Canada.

Centric premium rotors (yours are 330mm front 330mm rear) and Centric Stoptech Street pads will perform well and not dust too bad. How many miles on your G?, You might only need new pads, oh & welcome to the site. You can find those discs/pads on rockauto.com or Amazon.

More than likely a new set of pads should suffice. If you're getting vibration at the brake pedal when applying the brakes you may have uneven pad deposits. You can try scrubbing the rotors by doing something similar to a pad bed-in, just find a safe stretch of road where you can get up to 60mph, then slow down very quickly (but safely) to 10mph, then repeat 4-5 more times while NEVER coming to a complete stop. You then driven another 15 minutes as normal to cool down. When you come to a complete stop be easy on the brakes, then take it for a fresh drive while doing some good braking and see if the vibration is gone or has noticeably improved. If the vibration is still the same then you may want to get your OEM rotors machined (if the thickness is in spec) or look for new ones.

I have this exact setup. They do dust a little but what i really don't like is that they don't have a strong initial bite. My homeboy has a 2013 Altima with o.e.m brake pads and his wheels will look clean weeks after a wash. But they do a fantastic job of stopping at highway speeds though. I do recommended the rotors though. I have the high carbon version. Don't waste your money turning your old rotors. You can get news ones online for cheap.
